The official merit list for Vidyasahayak selection is calculated out of 100 points:
1. TET-1 Merit Formula (Std 1 to 5 – Primary)
- HSC (12th): 20% weightage
- PTC / D.El.Ed: 25% weightage
- Graduation (Optional): 5% weightage
- TET-1 Exam: 50% weightage (Out of 150 marks)
- Note: Candidates with a 4-year integrated B.El.Ed receive a combined 45% weightage.
2. TET-2 Merit Formula (Std 6 to 8 – Upper Primary)
- Graduation (UG): 20% weightage
- B.Ed / PTC: 25% weightage
- Post Graduation (PG – Optional): 5% weightage
- TET-2 Exam: 50% weightage (Out of 150 marks)
- Note: Candidates with a 4-year integrated degree (B.A. B.Ed / B.Sc. B.Ed) receive a combined 45% weightage.
3. HTAT Merit Formula (Head Teacher – Primary Principal)
- Graduation (UG): 20% weightage
- B.Ed / PTC / Professional Degree: 25% weightage
