CTET Educational Qualifications

CTET Educational Qualifications: CBSE conducts the CET exam twice every year, which is in July and December. The details of the educational qualification required for CTET are given in this article.

Paper 1Class 1 to 5Candidates must have cleared or still pursuing the final year of 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (with a minimum of 50% marks) from a recognized University/Institution.
OR
Applicants must have cleared or still pursuing the final year of 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (with a minimum of 45% marks) in accordance with the NCTE, Regulations, 2002.
OR
Aspirants must have cleared or still pursuing the final year of 4 years of a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) from a recognized University/Institution (with at least 50% marks).
OR
Candidates must have cleared or still pursuing the final year of 2 years Diploma in Special Education(with at least 50% marks) from a recognized University/Institution.
OR
Candidates must have cleared the Graduation (with at least 50% marks) and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) from a recognized University/Institution
Paper 2Class 6 to 8Candidates must have cleared the Graduation and also must have cleared or still pursuing the final year of 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education from a recognized University/Institution.
OR
Candidates must have cleared the Graduation (with minimum 50% marks) and passed or appeared in the first year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) from a recognized University/Institution.
OR
Candidates must have cleared the Graduation (with a minimum of 45% marks) and passed or appeared in 1 year of bachelor’s Degree in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE Regulations in Education (B.Ed).
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and Candidates must have cleared the Graduation of a 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed).
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and Candidates must have cleared the Graduation of 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
OR
Graduation with at least 50% marks and Candidates must have cleared or appeared in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education).
OR
Candidates must have cleared the Graduation in B.Ed. Programs recognized by the NCTE are eligible to appear in TET/CTET.
